Ko darīt ar projekta pāri palikušo granītu

When you install new granite as part of a construction or renovation project, chances are you'll be left with at least some leftovers. These parts usually come in the form of leftover blocks from the supplier, and there is simply no room for them in the installation. The question is: what should you do with them now?

Veidot darbvirsmu

Granite Table Top

Of course, your granite slab will almost certainly have jagged edges, so it's important to bevel those edges to be safe. Also, make sure your base is strong enough to support the weight of the board, and that the surface area of the granite table top is only slightly larger than the base (about 0.3 times should be safe).

Design A Tray

Relatively small leftover granite is perfect for serving trays and decorative trays, depending on your preference. Granite trays on the counter can add an extra touch of elegance to your kitchen and dining area. Use it to serve your collection of cheese, meat and fruit, or any hors d'oeuvres you see fit.

On the other hand, you can also turn granite into a decorative tray for your living room space. It's relatively easy to shape and form the tray to your needs, you just need to install two handles on the top or sides to complete the look. Add a book or two to the top and you'll have a nice ornament that will aid your decor.

Make A House Number

Do you already have your house number on your house number or post? If so, is it made up of those cheap plastic "glued" numbers? Instead of dealing with the thrill of numbers that keep peeling off the surface, why not create a unique house number from the granite you have left over?

Granite House Number

Just take a suitable piece of granite, shape it as desired, and carve (or paint) your house number on the board. It's relatively easy to do, and you'll get a house number that will stand the test of time - guaranteed!

Izmantojiet to mājas ārējiem projektiem

Granite Patio
